Privacy policy

This site is operated for Yemi Adesina's author portfolio and book marketing. We collect only what is needed for newsletter subscriptions, contact inquiries, and site operation.

What we collect

  • Newsletter: email address when you submit the signup form on the homepage or footer.
  • Contact form: name, email, and message when you submit an inquiry.
  • Technical data: standard web server and CDN logs handled by our hosting provider (AWS Amplify / CloudFront).

Newsletter and email

Newsletter signups use double opt-in: after you submit your email, we send a confirmation link. You are only added to the list after you click that link. Marketing emails are sent only to confirmed subscribers.

Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email we send. Unsubscribe requests are processed immediately.

How we use your data

  • Send newsletter confirmations, welcome messages, and opted-in updates.
  • Respond to contact and speaking inquiries.
  • Operate and secure the website.

We do not sell personal data. We do not purchase email lists. We do not send unsolicited bulk email.

Storage and location

Subscriber and inquiry data is stored in AWS DynamoDB in the eu-west-2 (London) region. Email is sent through Amazon SES from hello@yemiadesina.com with DKIM, SPF, and DMARC configured on our domain.

Your rights

You may request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us through the contact form. UK visitors may have additional rights under UK GDPR and PECR.
